Writer's Block: Change is good

If you could change one major thing about your life, whether a relationship, your job, your living situation, your school, etc., what would it be? Are you currently working toward a serious life transition?

The one change is that I'd like to be in a happy relationship. Other than that I'm pretty happy with my life at the moment.

Writer's Block: The one that got away

Do you believe in the concept of a soulmate? Do you think you've met him or her? Do you ever worry that "the one" got away?

I think I do believe in it, or I'd like to anyway. I'm more worried that I'll never meet them or that I'll let the opportunity to meet them pass me by. I'm keeping faith though :)

What's the best thing that happened to you this past week?

Getting my first ever job interview. And the realisation that I'll be great in my chosen profession after 3 years of constant self doubt. It's been a great week.

Writer's Block: Don't Call It a Comeback

The French term "l'esprit de l'escalier," which translates literally as "the wit of the staircase," refers to those perfect, clever comebacks that you only think of after the fact. What's the best came-too-late comeback you've ever had?

Writer's Block: Look at Me/Don't Look at Me

Do you seek attention or hide from it?

Hide from it, most definitely. I'd love to be one of those people who's totally at ease at the centre of attention, but I'm the furthest thing from it.

Writer's Block: Confidences

Who do you think it is easier to talk about your problems with: your friends, your family, or strangers?

View 501 Answers

Depends on the problem. I find some things easier to talk about with my friends, others with my family. I kind of talk to strangers, on a message board, because it's anonymous so I can talk about it and not be worried about consequences.

Writer's Block: Untimely Passing

For me it's probably it's probably Heath Ledger. He was only a few years older than me so for him to die, and so unexpectedly too, was really shocking. His death just seemed such a tragic waste of a young life.
